Sometimes you don't need a six month programme, you just need a burst of momentum.
Experience the depth of support you get from having a business partner in your back pocket.
Get an outside perspective, practical suggestions, heaps of accountability and guidance and a confidence boost from seeing small steps start to transform your business.
Work with me 1:1 to solve a specific problem, whether it's around your messaging, a new marketing approach you're considering, or a fine-tuning of your brand voice and online presence.
Momentum is for you if:
you're looking for a fresh pair of eyes and expert support
you want an intensive burst of guidance to get you swinging into action
you want new ideas and help with how to implement them
you know that it helps you to be held accountable for taking action
Whether it’s perfectionism holding you back or a lack of clarity and alignment meaning that you’re not sure where to put your energy, Momentum will give you focus, purpose and the impetus to get going.
Momentum works particularly well if you’re someone who expresses their thoughts best in writing or who prefers to have some time to consider their thoughts before composing a voice message (hello introverts!). If you sometimes feel ‘put on the spot’ during live coaching calls, or tend to hang up and only then think of what you’d really like to have asked or said, then Momentum’s blend of journaling, two carefully positioned 1:1 calls, and the daily email, voicemail and Google docs check-ins, could be just right for you.
The programme has also been designed to work well for multi-passionate creatives, who have difficulty choosing just one project to concentrate on. I’ll take you through a process to ensure that your project is fully aligned with your big picture vision for your future - and will help you to work out which one of all the beautiful ideas you have is just right to be your focus for the period of your Momentum mentorship.
"I'd recommend Sophy to anyone who needs support to cut through the noise and confusion to help them see what's possible. You will get targeted, manageable, extremely helpful advice."
“I've been able to clarify my target and my message and to create a website that hits the right note.
I would absolutely recommend Sophy's services. Working with her feels as if I have a supportive business partner on tap. Someone who understands my bigger vision, combines insight with a super practical point of view and who offers focused input to keep me on track with my goals.
I got practical input that wasn’t formulaic and wasn’t based on what “should” be done. Sophy completely took into account not only my business needs but who I am as a person and what is likely to resonate with me and inspire me to take action."
Here’s how it works:
This six-week package starts with a mini e-course to help you to declutter your business and schedule and then start getting really clear on the big picture vision you want to work towards.
Next we have a 1:1 private coaching session to establish exactly which project we’ll work on together over the following month, to get you moving in the right direction. This might be developing a new beta offering, a website refresh, a new opt-in, honing your messaging or positioning, raising your rates or exploring a new business model.
Then for four weeks you’ll have daily email and voice mail access to me and we’ll also be working together in a shared Google doc. Monday to Friday (within working hours) you’ll be able to message your own mentor however often you need. Any time you start to feel stuck, you have a route to overcoming your resistance or procrastination, with support, guidance and accountability available to you every day.
You get a thought-partner in your inbox, voice mail or commenting on your Google doc, and with my responses coming within one working day, you’ll never be left hanging, waiting for an answer to a question or a suggestion for your next move.
Then in the sixth week of the mentorship we’ll have our wrap-up 1:1 coaching session, reviewing your progress so far and setting some next steps to make sure you keep the momentum going into the future.
The Momentum mini-mentorship is £750. As important as the financial investment is the time investment. I’ve designed the programme to be as flexible as possible, but if you are too overwhelmed to have time to lean into my support, this won’t be the best option for you. I’d recommend allowing half an hour a day to spend either on our shared Google doc or making sure you get my help via voice messaging or email.
What can my mentorship cover?
Well, it's up to you what you want to focus on. Choose from honing your message, creating an aligned marketing strategy, choosing what to prioritise next in your business, working on your writing or creating some much-needed free time in your schedule.
Whatever you want to work on, the structure remains the same. If you'd like to go ahead, the first step is to arrange a free consult call with me:
When is Momentum not the right option?
There are a few situations in which Momentum definitely wouldn’t be right for you.
If you need someone (for instance, a VA, OBM, copywriter or bookkeeper) just to do the work for you. Momentum is a coaching package - I’m here to help you at every step of the way, but ultimately it’s down to you to do the work, with feedback, support and accountability from me.
If you’re not willing to choose one project to focus on for the Mentorship. It’s not that you can only work on one thing at a time in your business overall, but for Momentum, you and I will concentrate on one project together. If that gets finished before the end of the Mentorship, then at that point you can choose what to start working on together next. I often work with multi-potentialites and am happy to help guide you in choosing the right project, but you do have to be willing to pick just one at a time.
If you want more than six weeks of support. If you’re taking on something big, Momentum can still work for you, as long as you’re happy that what you’re getting is support to frame this big project, help breaking it down into small steps and then support for the first chunk of those steps. For some people, that burst of clarity and momentum right at the beginning is all they need to get beyond uncertainty and inertia, and the small steps they take during the six weeks we work together are enough to get them out of resistance and into action. In that case, Momentum can be extremely helpful. But if you know from the start that you want a partner in crime who is committed to supporting you for several months, then this isn’t the programme for you. That said, if you do Momentum and then realise you need further mentoring, of course we can talk about what would work best for you as follow-on support.
If the project you want mentoring support on is principally technical in nature (i.e. you want someone to help you decide which software systems to implement and guidance to set them up). In that case, I am definitely not your ideal mentor, but I can recommend a couple of people who would be great in that role.
If you principally want support via live coaching calls - these are included within the programme but are not the main method through which I will support you. If that’s what you want, that’s how the rest of my mentoring packages are designed - see more information here.
What they're saying:
“she always offers really practical nitty-gritty tips and strategies that I would have overlooked or am just not naturally wired to implement by myself…”
“I would ABSOLUTELY recommend working with Sophy!
I got accountability and clarity, confidence and practical steps around ‘big girl’ things like how to wrap up on draggy projects; tweaking my contract and communication to create better boundaries for future projects; breaking up with a client who could potentially jeopardise my new way of working, etc.
I really appreciate the off-call support she provides... it really felt like she’d created space for me, not just during the calls but in and around them as well, and that made me feel cared for.
Her expertise covers so many important areas, from time/energy, to growing sustainably and authentically, to brand clarity / voice / story etc... I think the reason I choose her over others is that inherent trust I feel, and the fact that she’s not just an empathiser and cheerleader, she always offers really practical nitty-gritty tips and strategies that I would have overlooked or am just not naturally wired to implement by myself. So I think she’s a particularly good fit for people with a lot of heart but who might need some grounding and practical support when it comes to executing their dreams. ”
"...I'm seeing quick results from my work with her..."
"Sophy is really outstanding at what she does. I would highly recommend her services to anyone I know who wants to create a more heartfelt marketing approach for their business.
Since I followed Sophy's guidance, I'm attracting more of my ideal clients, and when they call, they even tell me they relate to specific things I've expressed in my web copy.
Her approach is very practical but also warm, down to earth, patient, kind and authentic. It's FUN working with her!
She's delivered amazing content without any fluff, and I'm seeing quick results from my work with her."
