1. recommended people

This is my virtual little black book of recommended service providers - from web designers to bookkeepers and brand architects to financial behaviourists...

2. Recommended books

I can't stop recommending books - I've done it all my life (particularly during my many stints as a bookseller during my student years) and these are the ones I recommend most often to clients.

3. Recommended podcasts

Here are podcasts about the reality of setting up a business and about the nuances of running one, along with insights into how to balance all that strategy with actually leading the life you want to live.

4. Recommended talks

Here's a selection of the talks I most frequently recommend, covering topics ranging from motivation and productivity to tapping into the quiet power of introversion to how to run a feminist business.

Most of my clients start with either Do Less: Achieve More, my intensive four-hour coaching package, or Story Clinic.

Some clients go straight into 14 week one-to-one Impact Mentorships, which start from £1,500 for a ‘light touch’ approach (perfect for those who just need a burst of support at the beginning, followed by gentle accountability and occasional coaching) or £2,500 for a more intensive approach, with fortnightly coaching sessions (and bonuses such as ongoing copywriting support). It's also possible to use Do Less: Achieve More as a stepping stone to a Mentorship (in which case you can offset its cost against the full fee for the Mentorship).

I also run two intimate small-group Masterminds a year - these also last for 14 weeks and run in the spring and autumn.

The best way for you to decide which of these options would work best for you is for us to have a free half hour consultation, so we can talk through in detail whether we're the right fit for one another, and if so, which of these options would best be able to support you and your business and your unique set of circumstances at this moment in time.

Also, do give some thought to how to choose who best to work with as a coach - or indeed, whether coaching is the right next step for you at all. I've written here about some things to consider (tl/dr version: has the coach walked the same path as you're planning to take? Does their style resonate? Will they help you integrate what you're learning? Will they hold you accountable for taking action?). If you'd like to find out how I can answer those questions for you, let's have a chat:

Ready to get started? Excellent!

Here’s what to do:

Step 1. Schedule a complimentary, no-obligation consult

Step 2. Before we hop on the phone, I’d like to know a bit about you and what you’d like to get out of coaching with me, so you’ll see when you schedule your consult call, there’ll be some questions about yourself and your business.

Step 3. At the scheduled time of your consult, we’ll consult! We’ll use the opportunity to make sure we’re the perfect fit before you commit.

Step 4. If you decide to work with me, I’ll tell you the exact steps for getting started. If you decide not to work with me or if we're not a perfect fit, I’m happy to share other resources to help you get what you need.

If you have any questions, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to answer.

A Note from Sophy...

Big change isn’t easy, and this kind of in-depth one-to-one coaching is going to entail a big inner shift, from feeling trapped in a never-ending cycle of busy-work to feeling like your business supports you, not just financially, but emotionally and energetically too.

When you’re ready to go for it, you have an experienced mentor right here to give you the tools, companionship and wisdom for your journey.

No one else can walk your journey for you, but I will be with you when you make changes, when you’re tested and when it just feels too hard. When you hit setbacks and bumps in the road, you won’t be alone.
