The simplest fix for your copy

Whether you’re a seasoned copywriter or a newbie at writing for your business, here are 3 simple things you can do to make your web copy crystal clear:⠀⠀
⠀⠀
1. Write short sentences.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
2. Split paragraphs up so they're shorter (one line is fine).⠀⠀
⠀⠀
3. Make use of numbered lists, bullet points (no more than five though); use bold or italics for emphasis; use sub-headings; use lots and lots of lovely white space so your words have room to breathe.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
There are heaps of OTHER things you can do to improve your copy. You can write from a place of empathy with your reader; or use the power of story to make your writing more engaging, memorable and compelling; or use the exact words that your clients already use; or use headings that create a curiosity gap and so on, and so on. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
But honestly, if more people followed the first three tips (and a bonus tip which is, always read your text aloud to yourself and adjust accordingly), it would radically improve most websites.⠀⠀
